This project was developed during my studies at the University of Central Lancashire.

This is an app for Android where the current position of the ISS station can be observed. There is a live map which is updated every 2 seconds with the current position of the ISS station. So-called observations can be created, i.e. the user can make a note at a certain time and the current GPS data of the ISS station will be saved. Images can also be added to these notes. There is an overview with all notes and the app greets you with the current people who are in the ISS station.

This is a play in which I played the role of Yann from the play "That's not how I remeber it".

The play is about the two parents telling their children the story of how they met and got to know each other - but the story changes enormously depending on which of the two parents is telling it. From the mother's point of view the father was an anxious wimp, from the father's perspective he was a karate world champion at that time. More information can be read here.

General

Are you a student who has often done some nonsense instead of doing a job you had to do and were really annoyed afterwards? That's called procrastination. I've developed an application that helps exactly with that, with a focus on ease of use.

Problem

Humans tend to automatically pick up every little piece of information and decide afterwards whether it's important or not. With a constant stream of new information (social networks, twitter, videos...) on the World-Wide-Web, it is no wonder that people get distracted by the ability to access the Internet from their mobile phones at any time. This continuous interruption by information has several disadvantages. The distraction means that the person can no longer focus entirely on a particular task, the work progress is reduced and a lot of time is wasted. In short: The actual work takes longer (like reading a book) and a lot of time is lost.

This is where 'Back on Track' comes into play.

Solution

'Back on Track' is a Windows application that helps the involved user blocking certain websites and keeps him staying focused. You can block any website on a system level (hosts file). Alternatively, there is the possibility of enabling a specific website for a certain amount of time each day, or to redirect to another website (this is will be implemented by a system proxy [proxy level].

Finance Viewer - finally all finances at a glance.

Do you know that feeling when you spend too much money and/or don't have the exact overview of your expenses per month or year? In Finance Viewer you can easily and quickly keep track of your expenses and have access to your current expenses from anywhere at any time. An administrator can change settings for multiple users and create new dashboards. You can create separate views for each area and combine them all at once.

The whole thing is a web application, so it can be opened from any device with a browser. The frontend written in Vue.JS can be combined with a PHP+MySQL or ASP.NET backend.

The project was developed during my studies in 2018/19 at the University of Central Lancashire.

This was a project which was created with a colleague during school.

It was about a website where each person could write why they had a nice day (ergo. was happy) + a matching color + a song. Then there was a big dashboard with a whirlpool of colors where everyone could click on a color and see why that person was happy + the song. The colors were arranged tetris-like.

The website http://thehappinessproject.at/ has unfortunately gone offline in the meantime.

My diploma project at the HTL Spengergasse.

I was in a group with 4 other colleagues and we worked together with the company Vamed. OpenMRS is an open source program used as a software to support health care in developing countries. We worked on the radiology module.

I specifically developed the concept for the acceptance tests of the web interface. Together with Selenium and Gebish, I developed a test automation that covered the user stories in their acceptance criteria.

This was in 2016.

SMP stands for School Management Program.

It was an Outlook like program which was adapted and prepared for school students. The current timetable as well as exams for the class could be viewed and created. The link to several tools like Moodle was included as well as statistics and diagrams showing the grades or the duration of the school year.

The project was discontinued in 2014.

A project which was developed while my time in the HTL Spengergasse. It was about programming a web service that accesses an LDAP server and returns the data via a web interface. I took the chance to implement a project I had been looking forward to for a long time: a web desktop.

This one in particular should look like the Mac OS operating system. It is very important to note that I don't work or have worked with Apple. Design and icons belong to Apple and this is an independent fan-made project.

There is a login (login credentials are: admin/admin) internal apps (which are now only filled with dummy data), a notifcations-slide and several easter-eggs.

This was my very first website and the first project I ever had: a website about tomatoes. In 2012, HTML5 was fresh out and was used intensively.

It is about a project completely about tomatoes with pictures, a video and a guestbook.
